Photo Final
1. How do you catch motion with camera?
~ Motion is caught on camera by slowing down the shutter speed.
2. How to change the depth and focus of a photo?
~ You can manage the depth & focus of your choice by changing the aperture ; ex) reducing the aperture increases depth of field.
3. What is a good lens to shoot action sports?
~ A wider lens is necessary for shooting action sports; it usually comes with higher aperture or shutter speed to stop the motion that occurs.
4. What is a good iSO to shoot in daylight?
~ An ISO of aprox 100-200 is needed to shoot in daylight.
5. What Image Quality should you use if you want beautiful photos?
~ Beautiful photos have large image sizes in jpeg, usually in ‘fine’ quality.
6. If you want to shoot pictures in a dark place (ex. A concert) where the lighting is not so effective, what ISO do you need?
~ Higher ISO’s are needed for darker situations to get a faster shutter speed; greater than a normal ISO of 100
7. How can you make your Shutter Speed faster in low light?
~ You can change the shutter speed on the Shutter Priority setting on the camera; ex) you can set the shutter speed to 1/400th of a second to capture low light.
8. What is art?
~ In regards to photography, art is considered as photos that are aesthetically pleasing and evoke emotions out of the viewers.
9. What grade do you feel you have earned in photo this semester?
~ I feel that I have earned an A in this class. Although I may not be on top of the work, in the end I get it done. I put effort into my pictures and I make sure that they are quality (ie. not some selfies taken from a cellphone).
10. What have you learned in photo class this semester?
~ Having hands-on experience with a borrowed DSLR camera, I have learned to use ISO and shutter speed properly and I had the opportunity of taking pictures manually and in different settings.
